Godbout Econoram II 8KB Altair Memory Board

The Godbout Econoram II is an 8KB static memory board for Altair or other S100 bus computers. The memory is arranged in 2 banks of 4K, each bank can be addressed on any 4K boundary. It uses 2102-L1 1K static low power memory chips having a rated access time of 450ns. For use with 4mhz Z80 processors a wait state can be inserted into memory accesses. It will also optionally generate a vectored interrupt if an attempt is made to write into protected memory.

This board passed a 30 minute memory test on 05/15/99. Currently 4K bank 1 is addressed at 2000h and bank 2 at 3000h but the addressing can easily be changed via dip switches.

I built this card myself from a kit many years ago. It is copyright 1977 and referred to as project 114A. The original data sheet with assembly and setup instructions as well as the logic diagram is included.
