When you ordered the original Altair 8800 system from the Popular Electronics article, two cards were included: an 8080 CPU card and a 1KB static memory card that had 256 bytes of memory installed. This is the original memory card that came with this Altair system. It came in kit form and I assembled it myself.

This card is fully populated to a "spacious" 1KB of RAM. The card is operational. It passed a 30 minute memory test on May 15, 1999. Currently it is jumpered for address 0d000h.

The card is marked 8800 1K STATIC MEM BOARD REV 0 and has the hand written serial number 1049K.
